Shaft Seal Reconditioning

Something that sets Sealcom Inc. apart from competitors is that we offer reconditioning of shaft seals. Instead of buying a whole new assembly, we offer the option to send in a used shaft seal to be reconditioned for half the price of a brand new shaft seal. We stand behind this applying our same OEM plus 30-day warranty to all shaft seals that we recondition. 

One advantage in reconditioning a shaft seal versus buying new is the cost savings. Sending in a used seal to be reconditioned saves an average of 50% cost compared to buying a new replacement kit. 

All components are inspected for proper tolerances and quality checked. Any components that do not meet our standard will be processed to ensure quality is the same as brand new. 

We replace all elastomers with material best suited for the application, ensuring the appropriate durometer. Material options that we offer include:

- Neoprene

- Buna N (nitrile)

- Viton

- Teflon

- HNBR
